Project Summary
Now in its 40th year, YMCA Women of Excellence is a biennial awards ceremony honoring the achievements of exceptional women in Ontario.
Strategy
The style of the brand needed to be elevated in order to reflect the prestige of the award. I created an updated look featuring modern fonts, a glamorous palette, and pop art-inspired portraits of the nominees, to make the marketing materials grab attention while remaining sophisticated. We were covered in media including CTV and the London Free Press, often featuring our designs in their coverage.
We exceeded our targets and our expectations.
Results
The most successful gala to date had been 2023, but we broke the record in 2025 with a 23% increase. The gala was filled to the venue's maximum capacity of 1050 attendees. With a total revenue of $400,385 and the tickets to the raffle completely sold out, we exceeded our targets and our expectations.
